It took up, honestly, I would say, 30% of our time just managing all that, which was a lot. You make it work until all of a sudden you realize, how long has it been since I've slept?
We started in my garage, quite literally, and it's kind of grown from there. We managed the chaos, but barely, you know, just because there was a lot and we were still growing and adding new retailers and resellers, third parties.
Surpass, honestly, it was great from my end. I was able to hand that off. Paul over there at Surpass, fantastic to work with. They made it a pretty seamless process and also helped us recognize how we were making it more complicated, or rather our prior partner was making it a little more complicated than it needed to be. And so being able to integrate with our ERP made a world of difference. Once that's handled, it's pretty much, you know, set it and forget it, which is awesome. Saves us a ton of time and headache.
With Surpass, it's kind of a no-brainer, not only from a price point standpoint, which is great, but, I mean, honestly, there's not a lot of players in the space from my understanding, and you have been so much easier to work with.
Personalized care is huge. All of a sudden, having someone to contact when there's a question, where you don't have to wait and get a response from someone you don't know, or it's an answer to something you didn't even ask, where you can actually communicate with somebody, which is huge. Surpass was faster. There's just no comparison, which is saying something. It was a dream compared to what we had already experienced.
That integration aspect, that is huge. That's something I wish we had done from the very get-go. Having that ability to connect everything early on, don't wait. Pull that trigger early. Coming from someone who had to figure out after he got into the industry what the heck EDI even was, this has been huge. So I'm grateful to you guys.
