Hollie: Spreadsheets work up until they stop. And it's normally when they stop that it has a certain impact to the business.

Paul: Hey everybody, Paul here from Surpass EDI. I'm thrilled to be joined by Hollie from Thomax. Thank you so much for joining us. I'm so excited to talk about our partnership and what we're doing.

Hollie: Yeah, thank you so much for having me, Paul. We're thrilled to be partnering up with Surpass EDI. Just so excited to see what we can both do with our powers combined, and how we can service our clients better together.

Hollie: Spreadsheets are great at the beginning part of running a warehouse. They work up until they stop working. Usually there's one person in the warehouse who knows where all the stock is, and then they go on leave, and the whole operation falls down. That's normally the telltale sign that you're ready for a WMS.

Paul: What we deliver is a high-touch service. An outcome as a service, matched with a modern and flexible orchestration platform for EDI and supply chain workflows. What we like to say is tools are for fools. A lot of our customers, their time is much better spent growing their business rather than the plumbing of the business. So people choose Surpass because we have decades of experience in EDI and that expertise, and we walk them through the entire process end to end, so they're in the best possible position with their buyers and their retail channels.

Paul: I think it would be interesting to talk about how our two systems work together and what it really achieves. From my perspective, it comes down to fulfillment and shipping, and how that translates into the documents we send to retail trading partners. What we love is that you guys handle the labeling, the generation of the SSCCs, the tracking numbers we apply, and the integration and fit we have means we can execute for any retail partner globally, which is incredible.

Hollie: We are, in my opinion, and I could be completely biased, it's a really clever platform. On the surface it looks very simple, but behind the scenes there's a lot that goes into the WMS, not just on the web UI but also the RF scanning devices and screens. The usability of it is incredible. It's also incredibly scalable. We've had people scale up their operation without needing to completely redo their instances, which is just incredible. It's a flexibility you just don't see with other platforms.

Paul: Yeah, I think the thing is, we've seen it all. Our customer might be experiencing it for the first time, but we've seen it, and we know how to solve for it. That gives them a lot of comfort and relief.

Hollie: Definitely. With us both, the experts are always in the room. We know what we're doing, you know what you're doing, so we're able to give that to them. We're quite charitable with that, really.
